Re: Open Beaches Act: Homes identified on the beach by the GLO, June 7, 2006.

The West End of Galveston Island has 74 homes “on the beach” as indicated by the GLO under the Open Beaches Act. Your property owner association has been identified to have “homes on the beach”. The GLO would like to meet with all the affected homeowners that were identified in the June 7 announcement of homes on the beach under the Open Beaches Act. The meeting will take place August 12, at 1:15 PM, at the Galveston Country Club. The GLO will discuss the program and options and to provide information.

I would appreciate if you could send this Email to the homeowners in your property owner association that are affected. The GLO will be coming out with specific rules and plans in the near future and please have everyone check these two GLO websites for information:
