BBIC Meeting at Marie Garrett's home
Call to Order by President Andy Lang at 1:25 PM
Present: Andy Lang, Kathy Love, Mildred Coker, Marie Garrett, Louie Conrad.
Not Present: Leonard Tatar and Carole Sunseri

1. Sale of property along FM3005 & our entrance (Mildred) Unable to meet with new owners prior to this meeting.

2. Beach Party Weekend Reminder April 21-23, 2006

3. Electrical Outages (Marie) to telephone her contacts to see what can be done about the brown outs.

4. Beach Restoration proposal (Marie) $50,000 to do a survey for possible project

5. Identify BBIC Task Responsibilities
Andy - Oversee Responsibilities of the BBIC Board,
Andy - Preside over all BBIC Meetings
Andy - Work with City/County/ State officials on beach related issues.

Mildred - Bills/payments
Mildred - Day to day maintenance of the subdivision
Mildred - Billing Maintenance Fee/collection
Mildred - Budget & Financial Report
Mildred - Reserve Meeting hall for Annual Meeting
Mildred - Lot mowing & general maintenance
Mildred - Security

Kathy - City Beach Permits
Kathy - CEPRA Grants (Coastal Erosion Planning & Response Act)
Kathy - City Representative
Kathy - Mailing(s) Maintain Data Base
Kathy - Web site
Kathy - Set up Meeting documents, ballots
Kathy - Secretarial duties
Kathy - Directory

Marie & Louie (alternate) - Represent BBIC at the GAlveston County Erosion TASK Force
Marie - Treasurer and BBIC Representative to WGIPOA
Marie & Andy - CIAP Grants (Coastal Impact & Assistance Program)

Leonard - Legal advisor and Nomination Chairman/committee

Mildred - Liaison with Realtors/rental owners: issues with rental houses: such as parking, emergency number of owners. (Police cannot evict without permission from owner). This is being done by Mildred but she would like it to be taken over by one person that is responsible for all "rental issues".

6. Seaweed Redistribution Permit (Louie) will work with the bob cat driver
Oversee procedure (Louie)
Call for maintenance (Mildred) frequency and negotiate rates

7. FEMA Mitigation-Pre & Post SM Survey Marie
Letter from Ray Newby - Discussed erosion survey and reviewed response to inquiry from Ray Newby. Even though we did not receive FEMA money after the storm, individuals may apply for it personally.

8. Newsletter to Cover
Trash cans are not pushed out but are put back after emptying
Outside Construction needs City permit & Written Approval from the board
Sand availability for front row home owners - apply for a personal permit
Annual Meeting - Oct 21
After a storm: Get emergency permits, buy sand, may apply for FEMA personally.
Request for new board members
Request for agenda items for Annual meeting
Security hour reminder

9. Front Row VL Maintenance Fees Mail with newsletter: Vote - to go out with newsletter decision is needed prior to billing in September.
