Bermuda Beach

Bermuda Beach does NOT move trash cans to the street, but does provide for emptied trash cans to be moved back under the house on Monday's in the event the house is unoccupied. If you are home, please move the trash can from the street by Monday evening.

All trash receptacles must be at the street edge by 7:00 AM on Monday mornings. If you have more than one 96 gal receptacle place the at least 3 feet apart so the automated arm can easily pick them up without dumping the one sitting next to it.
The City will not pick up trash sacks sitting next to the containers. They will not take butane bottles, paint cans, batteries or air conditioners. Special arrangements can be made to pick up items of this nature by calling the above number. The City will not pick up building materials. These must be hauled off by the builder or home owner. Be sure to telephone the above number for instructions and costs.

Bermuda Beach does pay a person to pull the trash cans to the curb when it is obvious that the house is unoccupied and return the cans under the footprint of the house.

Renters are asked to telephone their rental agency if they see they have more trash than will fit in the receptacles provided. Blowing trash on the beach is a severe hazard to animals and marine life.
