The Bermuda Beach Security Patrol is on call 7 PM - 7 AM

BBIC Security Terms of Agreement

General:
-Average of 1 neighborhood patrol weekdays and 2 on weekends
-Will be on call evenings and nights (after 7pm)
-Stat sheets and call out sheets submitted to appointed board member by 5th of the month
-Call outs may be charged to offending homeowner at the discretion of the board ($25 minimum)

Patrols
-Patrols will take place in the evening and night at random times
-Routine checks on properties and beachfront
-Code enforcement- (Examples: parking, fireworks, glass, litter, fires on beach and noise ordinance after 10pm)

Call outs
-Emergencies where life or property is at risk (medical, law enforcement, water rescue). In case of emergency dial 911 first, then call security second.
- Noise violation after 10pm (parties, fireworks)
- Vehicles blocking roadway or driveway (please ask them nicely to move first before calling!)
-Issues not appropriate for a callout- parking violations that don't block roadway or driveway, small beach fires that don't endanger property, dolphin stranding, pet leash violation, noise violations before 10pm, and stuck or stalled cars.

Issues not handled by security
-Homeowner association issues- #renters or pets per house, lawns, paint, fencing, #of cars, trailers, etc.
-Building code/permitting issues- illegal water hookups, permits for home improvement, etc.
-Property line disputes
-Beach maintenance issues- seaweed, parking poles or signs, trash, raking, etc


If the cell phone is not answered immediatey the security officer is probably on another call. Leave a message.

Noise and parking seem to be the biggest complaint.
